Tomorrow, When The War Began- Examining the Cover
Must Do Questions:
Looking at the original cover to the right, answer the following questions, remember to explain why you think that for each answer:
- How do you think this story will be written? I think it’ll be written like a novel about when people like enter war or something
- Why do you think the story is entitled as it is? Because people are put into war the day it starts
- Where do you think the story will take place? In a forest/somewhere hot
- What time period do you think the story is set in? 1890-1960
Consider the effect of the following choices-
-How is the cover composed? (camera angle/shot type/framing) Mid shot
- How is lighting used? (brightness/mood/contrast)
- How is text used? (font/size/language/positioning)
- What symbolism is used? (objects/people/setting/colours) it’s dark which make the people look the the figures they are and it’s like sunset.
