Must Do Questions: Which people in the group are starting to stand out as leaders, is this surprising? Why/why not?kevin, homer it's kind of surprising because they weren't shybut they weren't really leaders they just join the group unlessthey think they need to take charge
Do you think that taking Kevin’s dog Flip to Corries house was a mistake? Explain your thoughts.yes because Flip could've got hurt and it would've been hardon bikes What does Lee mean when he says ‘we might have to make some ugly choices?’like if something happens they may have to leave the dog alone
How is Ellie’s image of Kevin changing in this chapter?thinks he's more of a leaderIs the decision to split into smaller groups a wise one? Give reasonsyes because when they decided to split one group would be able to check the house and the other observe some area. Why is it that Elli’s group decides to act ‘illogically’ and survey the Showgrounds together? because they know theirs soldiers and stuff and they know they'll bestronger together. Why does the idea of a female soldier surprise Ellie?because there's a higher chance of males being soldiers than females. If your parents were captured in a situation like this, would they have been ‘sensible’, or would there have been violence?in between my parents would have had a strategy but if someone started shooting they would shoot back. How is Ellie ‘transformed’ once she steps out from behind a tree near the Showgrounds? she takes charge.Ellie and Kevin’s quick-thinking allowed them to turn a ride-on lawnmower into a bomb. Was this moral behaviour? Did they do the right thing, or should they have surrendered themselves?Predict what you think has happened to Lee and Robyn.it was the right thing because otherwards the soldiers would've probably shot them.

Why do you think Ellie and Lee feel uneasy just before their return to Wirrawee from the Bush? they feel uneasy because of the fires they couldn't figure them out
What do you predict will await the group back home, why do you think this? Something bad like war because the title is tomorrow when the war began and she felt uneasy about the fires.
